Cory Wilkins is a Toronto-based strategic communications leader with 16 years of experience across public sector, sports, and regulated environments. Cory has led communications functions at the Regional Municipality of Durham, the Durham District School Board, and the Canadian Hockey League, with earlier roles at The Score, Manulife Financial, and the Canadian Business Journal.

Cory's work spans executive communications, editorial planning, stakeholder relations, issues management, and internal communications, with a consistent focus on translating complex information into clear, audience-centred content that builds understanding and drives results.

Cory holds a journalism diploma from Niagara College and brings an editorial foundation to everything he does.

Designed and produced the CHL Top Prospects Media Guide, leading layout design, editing, content organization, photo selection, and overall publication production while incorporating material provided by internal and external contributors.

Produced the CHL Memorial Cup Media Guide from start to finish, including layout design, photo editing, statistics verification, bilingual translation coordination, and print production management for a comprehensive 100-plus-page publication.

Oversaw communications for the DDSB’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan, coordinating visuals, messaging, video scripting, stakeholder engagement, and cross-departmental content development to communicate the board’s four-year priorities.

Managed the DDSB’s Director’s Annual Report from the Communications department, coordinating cross-departmental content, infographic development, and community-informed data and storytelling for a public-facing website.
